The single chick is growing well. My 26 October visit was quite comical. Judging by the size of each parent the female was sitting on the chick when the male came in with a Starling. The female went ballistic and chased him off. She then took the Starling and dropped it in the river below. She went back to the chick with no feed and the male went and sat in a tree.
